လက္ဖက္ရည္ဆိုင္က အထြက္ (ပုလဲ-ဆူးေလ) ကားကို ေတြ့လိုက္မိ၍ စဥ္းစား မေနေတာ့ဘဲ ကားေပၚသို့ တက္လာခဲ့သည္။ ေန့ခင္းဘက္ျဖစ္၍ ကားမွာ အနည္းငယ္ ေခ်ာင္ေနသည္။ ေျမနီကုန္းမွတ္တိုင္သို့ ေရာက္ေသာ္ ကံေကာင္းေထာက္မစြာ ေနရာရခဲ့သည္။ ရုပ္ရွင္ရုံတြင္ မသြားျဖစ္ေသာ ကိစၥသည္ အခုမွ အေရးတၾကီး ေပၚလာေတ့ာသည္။ အခုမွ ဒုကၡေရာက္ျပီ။ ေရေႏြးေတြ ဖိေသာက္ထား၍ ဆီးက အရမ္းသြားခ်င္ေနသည္။ ထိန္းမရ။ ဆီးက်င္လြန္း၍ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္မွာ ေပါင္ႏွလံုးကို ေစ့ထားရသည္။ မွတ္တိုင္တစ္ခုတြင္ ဆင္းသြားရန္ စိတ္ကူးေသာ္လည္း လြယ္မည္ မဟုတ္။ မည္သည့္ေနရာတြင္ သြားမည္နည္း။ ပုလဲကားကလည္း ရခဲသည္။ ထိုစဥ္ မွတ္တိုင္တစ္ခုမွ ကေလးငယ္ကို ခ်ီ၍တက္လာေသာ အမ်ိဳးသမီးသည္ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ေဘးတြင္ လာရပ္သည္။ အမ်ိဳးသမီးသည္ အသက္ (၃၀) ဝန္းက်င္ေလာက္ရွိမည္။ ကေလးမွာ (၆) လ၊ (၇) လ ေလာက္သာ ရွိဦးမည္။ ပထမေတာ့ ကြ်န္ေတာ္လည္း ေနရာဖယ္ေပးမည္ဟု စဥ္းစားကာ ေနာက္မွ အၾကံရသြားသျဖင့္ ဆက္ထိုင္ေနလိုက္ျပီး ...“ကေလး ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ကို ေပးေလ၊ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ခ်ီထားမယ္” ဟုေျပာလိုက္သည္။
အမ်ိဳးသမီးက ေက်းဇူးတင္ဟန္ျဖင့္ ကေလးကို ေပးသည္။ ေတာ္ေသးသည္။ ကေလးမွာ မငိုဘဲ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ဆီ ပါလာသည္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္လည္း ကေလးကို ေပါင္ေပၚတင္ကာ ေဘးဘီကို အကဲခတ္၍ မိမိကိစၥ ရွင္းရေတာ့သည္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ့ အၾကံက ဒီလို။ ကေလးကို ေပါင္ေပၚတင္ထားမည္။ ျပီးလွ်င္ မိမိကိစၥ ေဖာမည္။ ေနာက္ ကေလးကို လႊဲခ်မည္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္အၾကံ မပိုင္ေလာ။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္လည္း ထိုအၾကံအစဥ္အတိုင္း အေကာင္အထည္ေဖာ္ေနရာ အေရးထဲ ဆီးေၾကာက ရွည္ေနသည္။ ေတာ္ေတာ္ႏွင့္ မျပီး။ ထုိစဥ္ “ ကဲ သားေလးလာ၊ ေမေမတို့ ဆင္းေတာ့မယ္” အမ်ိဳးသမီးက ေျပာသည္။ “အယ္...ခဏေနပါဦး။ မျပီးေသးဘူး” ကြ်န္ေတာ္လည္း ေယာင္ျပီး ေျပာမိသည္။ ကေလးမိခင္မွာ ကေလးကို ဆြဲေခၚရာ ကြ်န္ေတာ္က မလႊတ္သျဖင့္ မ်က္လံုးျပဴးသြားျပီး..... .. “ဘာမျပီးေသးတာလဲ၊ ကြ်န္မတို့ ဆင္းရေတာ့မယ္”။ ထိုအခါမွ ကြ်န္ေတာ္လည္း “ ေၾသာ္ ဘာမွ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ ကားရပ္မွ ဆင္းပါလို့ ေျပာတာပါ။ ေတာ္ၾကာ ကေလးနဲ့ ေခ်ာ္လဲေနမွာ စိုးလို့ပါ”။ သို့ႏွင့္ တဆက္တည္း ဆက္ျပီး “ ဟာ ဒုကၡပဲဗ်ာ....အစ္မ ကေလးက ရဴးေတြ ေပါက္ခ်လိုက္ျပီ။ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ကိုေတာ့ အခ်စ္စမ္းလိုက္ျပီဗ်ိဳ့” ဟု ခပ္တည္တည္ႏွင့္ ျဖီးလိုက္သည္။
“ ဟယ္ .... ဟုတ္ပါရဲ့၊ အားနာလိုက္တာရွင္ ”
“ ရပါတယ္.... ကိစၥ မရွိပါဘူးဗ်ာ”
“ ဟို...အဲဒါဆို သြားေတာ့မယ္၊ ဆင္းရမယ့္ မွတ္တိုင္ ေရာက္ေနလို့ ”
“ သြား သြား အစ္မ ရတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ပုဆိုး လွည့္ဝတ္လိုက္မယ္ ”
အမ်ိဳးသမီးမွာ ကေလးငယ္ကို ခ်ီျပီး ကားေပၚမွ ဆင္းသြားသည္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္လည္း ပုဆိုးကို လွည့္ဝတ္လိုက္ျပီး စိတ္သက္သာရာရသြားကာ သက္ျပင္းေမာတစ္ခုကို ဖူးခနဲ မႈတ္ထုတ္လိုက္သည္။ ထိုစဥ္ ေဘးနားက ထိုင္ေနေသာ လူ၏ ေျပာစကားေၾကာင့္ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္မွာ စိတ္ကသိကေအာက္ ျဖစ္သြားရသည္။
“ ဟြန္း ....ကေလးေသးနံ့ကလည္း နံေစာ္ေနတာပဲ။ လူၾကီးေသးနံ့က်ေနတာပဲ ”

For he hardly speaks ill of others but often tells dirty jokes
